A LOOK AROUND OUR WINTER HOUSE - candles, a box, and some sparkles

Hello February 2017,
and Hello readers!

I took it slow in January and did not blog. Boxing
day I injury myself to the point it was hard to do
many tasks so that set the tone for awhile. I started
puttering around the house as most of use do in
January getting things organized again and finishing
off old tasks. It was all at a much slower pace than
usual but I still got a lot accomplished.
Check it out ...

OUR FRENCH COUNTRY BEDROOM - wall hooks

Sometimes I look at other blogs and
see photos of beautiful homes that
make me question if they are real
or not. I wonder how could I ever
achieve that. The finishes cost a
fortune and my fortune is dedicated
to more personal things like groceries.

OUR FRENCH COUNTRY BEDROOM - curtains & chandelier

Happy Mother's Day to all you wonderful woman who inspire,
nurture, and go way beyond.
Today is the day you should do NOTHING. Rest, relax, rejuvenate, and relinquish the
reigns to someone else today
and see if the world does explode.

SMALL CHANGES in the dressing room

For no good reason I pulled a muscle in the back of my shoulder. I'm resting and taking it easy but I can't create so I'm puttering around the house walking stiff like a penguin.

MOTHER'S DAY HOME TOUR - joanne's livingroom

For all you shabby chic loving moms out there
I have a wonderful room tour to share with you on your special day.

Recently George and I had the opportunity to meet Joanne
and were honoured to see inside her beautiful home.

And she was kind enough to let me have my way with the camera to share with you.

I took a LOT of photos so you may be lucky enough to see more rooms down the road,
but for now I am just going to spoil you with her livingroom.

And trust me when I say,
"THE WHOLE HOUSE LOOKS AMAZING"

Joanne's has been thinking about painting the gold fire screen.
My opinion was either way looks wonderful but I thought we would get your input.

DO YOU THINK THE FIRE SCREEN SHOULD STAY GOLD OR GO WHITE?

DOUBLE DECKER - stacked dressers

I love this project. I knew re-doing our dressing room I need more storage but I didn't know it was going to come in such a rare beauty.
