RUSTIC PAINT TECHNIQUE - dining chairs





I needed to come up with a paint technique to create a certain look on a set of heavy wood dining chairs. They had to coordinate with many elements in the same room and I was going to be using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint to do it.

PAINTING AND DISTRESSING PLASTIC CHAIRS - white dining chairs




Parts of these lovely vintage chairs are made of plastic. The front legs and the decorative backs are all a hard plastic composite. No worries thou I still painted and distressed them.

We set up all the amazing donations for this year's Chairs for
Charity today at Frostings. Silent auction for half of the items
starts tomorrow and the live auction for the top items happens
Thursday night.

 Every now and then (all the time actually) he wants me to paint something in red.
So far when George suggests something it's worked out pretty well.
SO I WENT FOR IT ... and was scared the whole time!
