FARMHOUSE GREY SIDE TABLES - matching 2 different pieces
I want to share how I found 2 little dark brown tables, that were both different styles, and how I was able to change a few simple things on them so they could be a matching pair.
SPRING BEDSIDE CABINETS - shabby chic antique white
I have another project that I have been thinking about but can't quite nail down all the elements so instead of driving myself nuts I sat down and did some wood work I am more familiar with. I created two adorable small space cabinets.
WHITE AND WOOD NIGHTSTANDS - replacing the tops
I have had these nightstands stashed away for awhile. They were really dirty like they had been in a food fight gone wrong.
ANOTHER WAY TO ADD HEIGHT TO FURNITURE - wood and ivory bedsides
The bedroom is a comforting place we spent each night and having a set of bedside cabinets that are tall enough for the modern bed can be challenging. Here is another way to lift up older nightstand without buying expensive pretty legs.
HOW TO MAKE A MATCHING SET OF NIGHTSTANDS - his & hers
I adore the simple nature of farmhouse decorating. It allows us to combine individual pieces we love, creating together a cohesive result that is warm and desirable and most importantly comfortable to live in. A perfect example is these nightstands that did not match when I first brought them together.
WINTER BEDROOM - new carpet and footboard
I made some great additions to our bedroom in the fall. Improvements specifically made for the coming winter.
ALTERNATIVE WAYS TO MAKE FURNITURE TALLER - gorgeous carved nightstands
Sometimes you can add legs to
your furniture to get more height but other times you can't. This time I had to come up with an alternative plan to get these
bedside tables taller.
LADDERS, FLOWERS, and FAVORS - peonies in the bedroom
STOP AND SMELL THE FLOWERS
I have been playing with some photographs and a new bunch of flower.
FRENCH PROVINCIAL NIGHTSTANDS - gold handles and arborite tops
CONSIDER WHERE YOU'RE STARTING
I recently painted a classic pair of french provincial nightstands but there was no reason to paint the tops
OLD DESK INTO NIGHTSTANDS - with rustic cedar wood tops
A LITTLE CUT HERE AND A LITTLE CUT THERE.
Turning a desk into a set of Farmhouse
nightstands isn't as hard as it sounds.
THE RIGHT CABINET HARDWARE - white nightstands
It is always tricky to pick new hardware for a painted furniture project. You have to consider the style you trying to create. A size that will look good, and a color that will tell the new story.
ASCP WHITE NIGHTSTANDS - large bedside cabinets
I created another pair of
bedside tables similar to
my own. They are big &
gorgeous with some
incredible details I'm
happy to share with you.
RECYCLING DINING CHAIR LEGS - shabby chic bedside tables
There are so many unused and unwanted
dining chairs out there. Every thrift store
and charity shop I go to have a selection.
Most people have a chair or two in their
garage. There are some great up-cycle
projects out there already on Pinterest
and I would like to add one more to the
list with the help of Annie Sloan Chalk
Paint.
Paint.
SHABBY CHIC TALL BEDSIDE TABLES - painted with annie sloan chalk paint
I built this lovely set of matching
beside nightstands by adding legs.
They were finished in a creamy
white creating the perfect shabby
chic look.

FARMHOUSE JACK & JILL BEDSIDE CABINETS - burlap nightstands
I purchased a pair of pretty classy
late 1960's nightstands only
to find out one was a knockoff.
MAKING FRENCH COUNTRY BEDSIDES - using appliques on furniture
back to them.
HOW TO MAKE FRENCH BEDSIDE TABLES - wood working tips
Once upon a time someone spent time and money to build this little black cabinet, and they built a matching pair of them. They were built to last but I wanted to add some improvements. A color change for sure, maybe add some interest to the drawers, and lift them up higher with new legs.
OUR FRENCH COUNTRY BEDROOM - bedside cabinets
This has been my bedside cabinet for years and
there is a boy version to match it for the other
side of the bed. It was a short, dark, typical
furniture outlet piece before I gave it a complete
makeover.
