CONSIDER WHERE YOU'RE STARTING
I recently painted a classic pair of french provincial nightstands but there was no reason to paint the tops
The tops of the cabinets had the original arborite finish and
they were in great shape. I chose a color to coordinate with
the arborite color so it would become an asset to the new set.
Who doesn't want an easy to care for bedside table top?
Above you can see the beautiful arborite top.
I used Annie Sloan Chalk Paint to make the warm
cream color you can see on the edge. I'm proud
to say it is an awesome match.

I did a small amount of distressing across the edge of
the top drawer design but that was it for distressing.

The beautiful french handles I used are not the same
design from one cabinet to the other but they are
the same stunning color of gold.
The bottom drawers are double deep.
The drawers have a heavy paper lining.
