REUPHOLSTERED equals BLOODY KNUCKLES - chair makeover

Beautifully carved floral details. Don't you just love button tufting.

Wood carved ball feet with heavy curving legs.

However a shade somewhere between rose
and heavy mauve.
It still has beautifully carved floral details.Still has those ball feet with heavy curved legs.
Of course the button tufting stays.

But the COLOR had to change.
Pink parlour chair $30
Six yards of new trim $20
Vintage coverlet already owned
Stapler, staples, & glue gun waiting
for a project like this
Pride I feel at a job well done, PRICELESS.

  8. Incredible work! Any chance you could provide a tutorial? I just acquired a love seat that's similar to your chair...it's burgundy velvet with a tufted back...I am a beginner, though, so it might be out of my league.

  9. wow Is that beautiful. I would love to see a tutorial on button tufting. I am kinda scared to take that step lol. I run in to chairs all the time that would look great done with this. Well you sure turned it into a real piece of art.

You made a follower outta me ;)

  11. INCREDIBLE! I picked up a chair like this that someone was throwing out. The fabric and padding has to be completely replaced. I'd love to see if you have any tips!

  12. Fabulous! I have just purchased such a chair - a little more than $30, but still a good price. I want to recover it in a butter yellow fabric. please tell me what fabric you used. It looks so soft and feminine, and I would love to accomplish the same look. Than ks.
