DESIGNER SECRETARY - revamped vintage drop front desk

I'm sure I must be going thru a paper phase,
beautiful paper thou.

This is designer wallpaper available at Walmart
that I used for interior of the desk writing area.

I also used it to line all the drawers.

I used appliques and wood trim to give this desk some style.

The paint color of the lower handles is called OYSTER
and dries in 10 minutes, but smells to high heaven.

  9. I LOVE IT-and I love your blog-we have kindred spirits when it comes to "wood"!

  10. Oh my this doesn't look like the same piece of furniture. All the trim work and the pulls are perfect compared with the before picture. This shows how important it is to get a before picture. I don't know what room this is in to know how you would use it. I have one in my guest bedroom so I use it open as a display area. My daughter has one in her room and she uses it as a desk. Your call on that one. But fantastic job.

  11. Ok, that liner paper is to die for!! It just MAKES that piece to me. You are so so creative. I'm so glad I found your blog, I love your projects!!!
