LONG AGO - bench built

I stumbled across this photo from the past.

This is a bench I built many long years ago from an antique bed.
That was in another life.

I sold it when the second part of my life started
I was cleansing and let it go for less then $80.
The next time I went into my favorite antique
store, there she was 4 sale for a lot more.

  3. My daughter just moved out to start her own life at 20. She didn't want her full size headboard and foot board...I will be making a bench like this out of hers next Monday with my handyman. I love this one but I know we can't always keep everything we make. Sorry you let it go so cheaply. It's a beaut.

  4. The new Pottery Barn catalog has returned to those same type stripes and flowers. And, I bought a blue striped duvet last week at a Pottery Barn store, with the exact material on your bench seat, (which wasn't in the catalog).

Truly, everything old is new again!
