FRENCH TYPOGRAPHY CABINET - graphics on glass

This could be a great shoe cabinet!

She looks and really is a true vintage cabinet
turned into an amazing shabby chic statement
piece with a vintage french advert on the
glass door. Long legs and 3 authentic
antique glass knobs.

VINTAGE BOTTLE LABELS - print your own labels at home

I bought a pair of little bottles with
french labels at a vintage market. The
labels were printed on a home PC and
glued on the bottles. I love them in the
bathroom but noticed after a bit of
time that the shower steam had started
to make the paper bubble and lift.
What to do?

VINTAGE SHOPPING IN FREDERICTON - savour decor

Even when I'm on vacation I can't seem to stop surrounding myself with chipped paint, rusty metal, vintage wood, sparkling crystals, and white painted furniture.
Surprise, surprise!!!

SMALL CHANGES in the dressing room

For no good reason I pulled a muscle in the back of my shoulder. I'm resting and taking it easy but I can't create so I'm puttering around the house walking stiff like a penguin.

CHIPPY LEADED WINDOWS - hallway decor

When I first saw these chippy old leaded windows I nearly lost my breath. The color, shape, and size were amazing for art pieces in my home.

FRIGHTENING TO FRENCH - french étagère

Many years ago I took a yard sale
dresser covered in sharpie marker
and built it into a French étagère.
Come see the before photo that
shocks everyone and follow the
story of how I did it.

MY BEDROOM PROJECT - shabby chic decorating

A JOB WELL DONE.
I've hung the chandelier, arranged the furniture, laid the carpets, and decorated the walls. I think our bedroom is almost done.

EDWARDIAN SCRIPT - table for two

The weather was wonderful and warm
so I decided to do the photo shoot outdoors for you on this one.

This little table was an auction buy and quite a simple redo once I decided to
keep the lovely wood top.
The chairs were orphaned and the natural wood on the seats go nicely with the table.

The seats are upholstered in a heavy weight woven linen with stripping

and the chairs backs are each numbered with Edwardian script.

MOTHER'S DAY HOME TOUR - joanne's livingroom

For all you shabby chic loving moms out there
I have a wonderful room tour to share with you on your special day.

Recently George and I had the opportunity to meet Joanne
and were honoured to see inside her beautiful home.

And she was kind enough to let me have my way with the camera to share with you.

I took a LOT of photos so you may be lucky enough to see more rooms down the road,
but for now I am just going to spoil you with her livingroom.

And trust me when I say,
"THE WHOLE HOUSE LOOKS AMAZING"

Joanne's has been thinking about painting the gold fire screen.
My opinion was either way looks wonderful but I thought we would get your input.

DO YOU THINK THE FIRE SCREEN SHOULD STAY GOLD OR GO WHITE?
