This is a fairly simple project that was finished in a few hours but has lasting impact in the kitchen.
I wiped the stools down with soapy warm water and let them
dry in the sun. I made sure to tightened all the joints before
getting started.
I sprayed the stools with Annie Sloan Svenska Blue Chalk
Paint. I left them till the next morning to dry and set up
before hand sanding all the flat surfaces and edges with a
180 grit sand paper creating the distressing you see in the
photo below. They were finished with natural Minwax paste
wax and buffed to shine.
