I had found this lovely French provincial side board buffet at auction years ago. It was that classic dark brown wood look with shiny gold handles.

PAINTING UPHOLSTERY - grey and white french chair
I did it .... I painted a whole chair from the frame to the upholstery. Everybody else is doing it why not me.

I first heard about Annie Sloan Chalk Paint while on vacation in Florida 2 years earlier. It took a while for ASCP to get here, but as soon as it arrived I purchased a can and tried it right away.
