This is another Emperors Silk Red project I did. Isn't the color amazing, "the knobs made me do it!" With this project I get to show you how far Annie Sloan Chalk Paint can really go.

A LITTLE AS* PAINT GOES A LONG WAY - annie sloan red & blue
This is another Emperors Silk Red project I did. Isn't the color amazing, "the knobs made me do it!" With this project I get to show you how far Annie Sloan Chalk Paint can really go.
WIPE ON POLY OVER RED - ascp emperors silk red chalk paint
I finished this beauty of a buffet with Annie Sloan's Chalk Paint in Emperors Silk red and I used wipe on poly for the top coat.
ANNIE SLOAN's EMPERORS SILK RED - vintage buffet
It can be scary choosing such a bold color but that one bold step I made resulted in one striking piece of furniture.
BENCH BUILT FROM A BED - emperors silk red
I adore building fun and useful furniture from salvaged items and many times the pieces are donated.
ANNIE SLOAN CHALK PAINT WITH POLY - miss cherry pie red buffet
I finished this beauty of a buffet with Annie Sloan's Chalk Paint in Emperors Silk red and I used wipe on poly for the top coat.
THE CAPTAIN AND HIS SOLDIERS PT2 - union jack painted upholstery
After painting the frames of these vintage 80's dining chairs, I custom painted the seats with a union jack flag.
THE CAPTAIN AND HIS SOLDIERS PT1 - union jack set
Don't they look like the perfect soldiers lined up?
Color - Emperor's Silk
George's favorite color is red.
Every now and then (all the time actually) he wants me to paint something in red.
So far when George suggests something it's worked out pretty well.
SO I WENT FOR IT ... and was scared the whole time!
** Painted **
** Sanded **
** Dark wax **
Here's how these 4 beige 80's chairs started out and how they ended up.
