HOW TO BUILD NEW FURNITURE - using old furniture

I built this amazing cabinet with a lot of common items that can be found at Used building supply stores, thrifts stores, and some curb side treasure. Take a look through the following photos to see if these items might inspire you.

Various wood trim left over or salvaged
 A solid oak desk

 An old TV cabinet

Corbels from the Used building supply

Some old drawers

Let me show you how these things were used ...

The dental molding trim is salvaged from a dresser

The side panels and top are from the
 huge desk seen earlier.

The top edge profile is a drawer front.

The TV cabinet was used for the bottom portion.
All the shelves are made from drawer
fronts or backs.

I mounted a touch light system in the top
also taken from another piece of furniture

Another great cabinet I pieced together can be found here
