I built and painted this headboard to coordinate with a special set of gold and cream nightstands I had finish.
The nightstands are vintage french provincial and I think
I came up with a nice matching piece in the headboard.
The gold details mimic the gold hardware on the drawers.
My favorite gold paint to use is Rustoleum metallic in a spray
can. I also needed to brush paint some small areas so I picked
up a little bottle of metallic gold from the craft store.
