FIXING SHRIVELED PUMPKINS - canadian thanksgiving harvest

Canada's  Thanksgiving long weekend is in October, on the second Monday of the month. Our crops are ready for harvest at this time of the year.

I am thankful for our orchard with several
fruits ready to pick. I like taking the apples
and baking fresh pie. I enjoy eating the pears
straight from the tree. There are also green
and purple grapes ready at the same time.

I am thankful for a partner that likes cooking
turkey dinners. Since we met, he always puts
an apron on this weekend and serves a nice
turkey dinner.

PUMPKIN TIPS:

A little cinnamon sprinkled on the inside
of the lid offers a nice aroma as the candle
warms it up.

When your carved pumpkin starts to show
signs of shriveling, put it in a cold bath
of water to re-hydrate it.

HAPPY OCTOBER EVERYONE,
ENJOY THE COLORS OF THE SEASON!!
