ARTICLES DE PARIS GRAPHIC ON A DRESSER - french furniture makeover

During an online craft competition was running I would stop in to see all the project each week to cast a vote. The first week brought many diy projects using graphics from The Graphics Fairy. This inspired me to create the ARTICLES DE PARIS DRESSER.

It just so happened there was a great lingerie chest revamp  that definitely stuck out in the competition and I love a great furniture redo. It was by FREDDY AND PETUNIA in WI.

Mean while back in Canada,
I had a dresser stuck in limbo needing a little inspiration,
well maybe a lot.

I went searching for an image suitable for the dresser shape.
I chose this one for a graphic transfer:

I used Sharpie Colored Markers on this DIY project.
Michaels has tons of Sharpie Markers for all sorts of projects.
Who could ask for more than paint in a pen.
I used 2 brown paint pens to complete this dresser.
Once it was all done the image was too sharp and new (Above)
so I sanded the drawer faces for an authentic aged look (Below)

Lastly I waxed and buffed the over the graphic.
See that nice shine below.
